Connection to modem sporadically dropping, customer support can't fix it

A few days ago, my normally stable Xfinity connection to my modem started dropping a few times a day, for a short amount of time, maybe 5 minutes. This morning, it is really struggling. I have tried all the usual stuff, powercycling the modem, having customer service refresh the connection on their end, even buying a brand new compatible modem. Problem still persists. At the point where customer service is more interested in selling me stuff than actually helping me fix the problem. I am worried that it might be something like Xfinity is oversubscribed in my area, which is a huge problem because I don't have any other feasible options. Please help!

user_a5nvmi Hello there! Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forums Team for assistance with your internet services. It can be frustrating when your services aren't working properly. I'd be happy to take a second look, and see what the next best step would be. Can you please send a Direct Message with your name and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Can you DM me? I connected with Xfinity support, but no response for the last 15 minutes and not having reliable internet is preventing me from working from home.
