Connecting to new router

Xfinity gave me a new router when I moved and my laptop cannot connect to my network. The same laptop worked fine with previous router.

What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

New router = new information for setup.

I used the Xfinity Assistant, so I couldn't tell them the actual problem - they did confirm my network is fine and phones work on network  - it's only my laptop that won't connect. I did confirm network and password

Are you able to see the network name on your laptop when searching for available networks?
