Completely dishonest claims by Xfinity
I have been a loyal customer for many years and am outraged at Xfinity’s Business protocol. They brief customer service reps to convince clients of Xfinity that their modems are outdated and need to be upgraded when in fact that is seldom the problem. They sent a tech out to my residence and even the tech said that I was right and that it was a problem on Xfinity’s end—NOT the hardware. They try to appeal to the customer who rants loudly enough offering to lower a bill that should have been at said rate in the first place. My power went out and 5 agents claimed it was my modem when in fact it wasn’t! [Edited: "Solicitation"]

You are not understanding. The problem was never with my modem. It was your outage and refusal to admit this! Instead every customer service rep. told me to rent a new modem monthly from Xfinity or buy one that is current (over $150) from Amazon. Wrong, wrong! The
problem was on Xfinity’s end as proven when the issue was repaired in the neighborhood and the outage was over. They lied saying full service was delivered to my house and the problem was that my modem was not receiving the signal. They could have just been honest about the outage. I deeply despise this dishonest company and everyone who works there. This is sooo unethical. But I have been onto their lies for years now from experience. If you can avoid using Xfinity by all means use another service provider!
