I did speak to customer service via direct messaging 4 more times, they scheduled another tech, who replaced my modem for the 8th time. Same issue, Hard wired the technician, got 200mbs down, 1.3mbs up.
I had to reboot my modem 5 times before the IVR recognized it. Spoke to a tech support agent, who verified the issue is still a problem, spoke to retention (this was after over an hour) just to verify the same issue, got transferred to a supervisor........... Call dropped. Had to start over. I have now been on the phone for 3 hours and 16 minutes, and finally got someone in retention who VERIFIED the notes, VERIFIED the bill history, ISSUED yet another credit..... and after almost 200 phone calls I got the actual real corporate phone number (not the one they advertise that is the PA City Council building).
So to summarize, 2 drops, 2 telephone pole lines, 8 modems, 19 technicians, 3 supervisors, 3 maintenance techs (I believe thats what they refer too when they say Line Tech) this agent actually VERIFIED every single thing, and has escalated the ticket (which he also verified has been escalated 3 times, and closed with no notes). Maybe ill get somewhere now, maybe at the ONE year mark ill have a more stable connection.
