Comcast Hit a water main

We have been working on a project to install water and sewer main. This was a service line to to a home that was impacted, which appears to run from a pedestal to the house. During that installation, a Xfinity line was hit, and during the re-installation of that Xfinity line by Xfinity forces, they hit the new water main, breaking the line, requiring a fix and re-bacteria testing that line. We need to figure out about the cost of repairing that water main line.

We have tried reaching out to local contacts but have not received any support. This has been ongoing for over two weeks with no response.

We’re sorry this has gone unresolved for more than two weeks, especially with the added cost of repairing and re-testing the new water main.

Since the damage occurred while the Xfinity line was being restored, the next step is to have a formal property damage claim reviewed. Please gather any photos, repair invoices or estimates, bacteria testing costs, incident dates, project details, and any names, ticket numbers, or work-order numbers from your previous contacts. Please do not post the exact location, phone numbers, or documents publicly.

Because we’ll need the site address, project contact information, and supporting documentation to properly route the claim, we’ll need to continue privately. Can you please send us a direct message with your full name and service address so we can take a closer look?

How to send us a direct message:

- Click “Sign In” if necessary.
- Click the “Direct Messaging” icon.
- Click the “Start new conversation” icon, which looks like a pencil and paper.
- In the “To:” line, type “Xfinity Support.”
- As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select “Xfinity Support” from that list.
- An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:” line.
- Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
- Press Enter to send it.

Talk to you there!
