Coaxial outlet install

The room I would like to have my router in does not have a coaxial outlet. I was hoping to schedule an appointment to have an outlet installed

Hey @user_ywb3qs, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. If you would like to install the Xfinity xFi Gateway or cable modem in another room, you would need an active coax outlet. To install a new outlet, we would need to schedule a Professional Installation which is a one-time $100.00 fee for the new outlet. This will be added to the next generated service bill. Would you like to schedule an appointment today to get a new outlet installed?

Great! We can most certainly help get that work order created and scheduled @user_ywb3qs. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, clicking on the pen and paper icon, and then entering “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full first/last name and complete service address (Including the city, state, and zip code), and I'll be happy to help.
