coaxial install
Hello,
I recently signed up for Xfinity internet (1000mbps) and while attempting to activate the WiFi Gateway modem I discovered that the house's coaxial lines are non-functional. Would Xfinity be able to assist with getting that coaxial line installed?

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related........... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there, @user_wxej92. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Sorry to hear about the trouble with activation. We can get a tech out to work on this, the charge is typically $100 dollars. We can check and see if there is anything we can do remotely and set up the appointment if needed. Please send a direct message to us including your full name and complete street address to get started.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
1-Click "Sign In" if necessary.
2-Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
3-Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
4-In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
5-As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
6-An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
7-Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
8-Press Enter to send it.
