Click to Cancel for Residential Customer in Minnesota
I am replicating the request from user_tws7jc per the request to cancel service via the Click to Cancel law in Minnesota as discussed here https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/customer-service/cancel-xfinity-internet-service-online-minnesota/6a81f237f5bede9622bafb3a):
Hello, I am trying to cancel my Xfinity internet service but the only option is to Schedule a Call or Visit a Store. I live in Minnesota and we have a Click to Cancel law (Minn. Stat. § 325G.59) which means it should be as easy to cancel a subscription service as it was to sign up.
I cannot find any form online to cancel. I cannot find an email address to send notice to. I talked to your chatbot and it only would say to schedule a phone call. I do not think the forum posting process can be considered easy as signing up per the law since I had to sign up for the forum, search for "cancel", and then click the small link for “Can’t find what you’re looking for? Ask a question” which is gray text on white background, then create this post and then, presumably, I will be asked to re-send all of my account details, even though I am signed in and you have those.
I do not think this process complies with the law.
Consider this post my notice to cancel my service.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey @user_veqihj, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We will be more than happy to assist in making any needed changes towards the Xfinity account, billing, and services. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, clicking on the pen and paper icon, and then entering “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full first/last name and complete service address (Including the city, state, and zip code), and I'll be happy to help.
