Charge for phone call to Comcast
I was charged $70.00 on my bill this month for conversations with Comcast - Troubleshooting. NO ONE told me that I would be charged for the phone call. Someone came to our home but I was not told this would cost something. Please refund this charge. Thank you.

Hello @gschnack, thank you for taking the time to make this post and bring this charge to our attention! When it comes to getting support from us over the phone, via social media, or chat, you are not charged for that. We are here to support you, so we would never charge you to talk to us!
When you are running into a technical issue and need a technician to come out, then it is possible you can receive a service charge for that. When you are having issues with your service and it is cause by degraded signal on our end, Comcast equipment, or outside lines, then the technician visit is free of charge to you. However, if the service issue is coming from your own person equipment, in-home wiring, or if general education is the only solution available, then you would be subject to a charge.
We would love the chance to further review the bill with you to see exactly where the charge is coming from so we can work together to determine if this is a valid charge or not. To help keep your information safe, can you please meet us in a direct message so we can discuss your billing details there? Just hit the direct message icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen, click "new message", type "Xfinity Support" and select that profile to send us a message directly to get things started.
