Changing shipping method to in store pick up for prepaid gateway
Hello Xfinity customer service support team Et al,
I just bought a prepaid internet gateway to hold my family over until xfinity can make the next available appointment for setting up our actual cable internet service but that isn't for another 2.5wks so we figured we could just use the prepaid service method in the meantime and set it up asap bc we're moving into a new home in two days.
That's why I prefer to change my prepaid gateway starter kit's shipping method to another (much faster, hopefully with a same-day /or/ within a 24h time frame at the latest, if at all possible to start using our prepaid gateway after setting up the ordered gateway starter kit) to another shipping method... particularly to in-store pickup if it's a viable option for me to explore, as an alternate shipping solution.
{**PLEASE NOTE: ...that bc of the delivery method actually needing more time than initially expected— estimated to take anywhere from ~4-to-6 bus.days for it to be delivered to our new home address..., not forgetting to mention that additional delays may occur simply as a result of our official change of address via USPS+/UPS/FedEx accounts which may lead to further delivery delays secondary to an extended timeline it takes prior to the official address change taking effect considering rerouting deliveries and mail etc to the new correct address, which has been any number of days based on my personal experience upon moving to other homes both in and out of state in the past so there isn't any exact amount of time all customers have experienced from which I may draw my own conclusive estimation from particularly with regards to my family's uniquely situation and given circumstances currently variable number of extra days Et Cetera, ... & |:· {=therefore}, will actually be too much of a waiting period for my family to be temporarily working from home during the next 10 or so days prior to transitioning back to our usual at-office work spaces, respectively, & without any internet access for that matter, especially for myself mainly due the aforementioned & any other reasons not touched upon earlier or in the following text that we've included for a detailed account to fully explain our predicament and hopefully get assistance from anyone on your team of knowledgeable professionals in the Xfinity customer service department asap bc not only do I need to ensure we have Internet access set up and ready to go for move in which occurred very sporadically so we could not prep lab this ahead of time thereby landing us in this unfortunate scenario and, bc I'm working from home until Im able to finish my online training entirely within a given deadline for my jobs transferred to a new workplace and position at a regional department which necessitates I go through a very lengthy process that can't be completed using data from my phone otherwise there'd be no need for my reaching out to y'all!
We sincerely appreciate your/your team taking the time to go through the above information I've provided you to find a suggestive solution that will answer our family's concerns and are also open to returning and requesting a total refund of the unopened delivered item/prepaid gateway starter kit esp if it means I can place another order for the same gateway to be picked up in store within 24h/same day pickup option and hence can be successfully set up quickly prior to receiving the ordered one which I shall return at a later time if this is the only answer solution that shall address my issue and set our concerns at ease bc we need a way to avoid use of public internet networks that will allow me to have enough Mbps to DL and UL documents as needed

@@B_n_G..95811 Hi! I appreciate the details. At this point we can only modify the address. The only quicker way would be a store and the prepaid inventory can only be 100 percent checked by stopping by the store. If they have one you can grab it and then return the other one when it arrives.
