Can't access an email account or edit email account information
We have four email accounts, the primary, my regular email, my wife's email and one we use only for shopping online. For some reason last weekend we noticed the shopping email stopped downloading. It turns out Comcast/Xfinity forced a password reset of that account and stopped allowing our password from our devices from working.
I tried logging into the account via the Xfinity web login but can't get into it because it won't allow me to use the password to log in. When I tried to do a password reset it wants to send an email verification to a email that my wife used from work which is no longer valid as she retired from that company and no longer has access to it.
I've tried using the phone Customer Support which is useless as it never allows you to get to a human.
Any account information is useless as we discontinued the Xfinity service after we sold our house and moved to an area that doesn't have Xfinity cable (a very rural area).
We use these emails for family contacts and the one for shopping.
How can I get access to this one account and reset the password and update the contact information to it without having access to my wife's old work email and phone number?
