Cannot add Comcast email after account canceled

I recently switched providers and have been able to access Comcast email on my phone and via webmail with no issues. Suddenly yesterday I am no longer able to receive new emails nor add it back to my iPhone 17. I am able to send emails but cannot receive any despite having enough GB. I followed all of the suggestions but my husband is having the same issue so I feel like it’s with our account and not the phones.

Good morning @user_9740d0, and thanks for posting your issue to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with accessing the email through your phone, but you have come to the right place for assistance. You mentioned that you were able to access the email through the Xfinity website, is that still the case since the issue with the phone?

I can access email via the web portal and view older emails. I can send emails but cannot receive any. I also am unable to add my email account to my iPhone. I tried using the chat help feature on my laptop but when I type my question, it asked me to sign in when I click the sign in box that has a pop-up that says 400 bad request request header or cookie too large so that’s a Comcast issue. I’m just not sure what’s happening. I can’t even get Comcast to send a code to my cell phone but yet at 1 o’clock in the morning I got six codes sent to me approximately six hours after requesting them. When I click on the forms and try to view the comments and responses I get the same error message and it says I don’t have permissions to view them. I believe Comcast has blocked me.

Thank you for the information @user_9740d0. When you try to add the email to your phone, what is the error you get?
