Cancelling service

I can't figure out how else to get this question answered, since calling didn't help. I spent a while on the phone with a customer service rep on March 2 2026, and was finally able to cancel my services. They verified March 2 would be my end date, but I still got billed for next month today March 5. Was my service even cancelled?

Normally we bill in advance so if you made a change to cancel the account there should be some proration after the final bill post. We are happy to take a look. To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send it
