It sounds like you got a fake e-mail looking for personal information. An employe here can check your account to make sure everything is okay. They should reply here soon.

Give them a call and they should be able to fix this.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us regarding the email that you recieved. I am happy to look into the email. Can you please reach out to us through direct message with your first and last name, name on the account if different and service address? 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
