Cancellation fee????

I had a horrible experience. Charged a cancellation fee for $250 when in keeping two of my 3 services. I had the mobile for over a year and now don’t need it any more. The person spoke poorly and couldn’t tell me why I had a cancellation fee. He couldn’t tell me how to avoid the fee and he wouldn’t transfer me to anyone else. He kept saying I don’t own the company. I want a refund immediately. Who do I need to talk to? I’ve been an Xfinity customer for years. This was ridiculous customer service. They should be able to explain why. I have a month to month contract on my phone and should be able to cancel anytime. I cancelled 4 lines a month after I joined with no cancellation fee. This makes no sense. I want to keep my cable and internet. What is going on???

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Community Forums support page. We would be more than happy to provide assistance and guidance. Are you mentioning receiving a charge of approximately $240.00 after cancelling/discontinuing an Xfinity Mobile line of service? 

 

If you receive a promotional discount or device credits for a device from Xfinity Mobile, discontinuing a line would cause the remaining cost of the device to become due. 

 

Any additional information and details pertaining to your issue would be greatly appreciated.
