Canceled service but it’s all still working

 

Hi, I canceled my Internet service, effective this past Saturday, but everything is still on and functioning. I own my own modem. When  I called I was told it would take 10 days to get the cancellation effective. Can this cancellation happen immediately?   Thank you in advance for your reply.
