Cancelation!
Seems to be a common theme around here but Im trying to cancel my internet service and cant. It keeps trying to make me make a call and I cannot do that. I also see many other people complain about that too and I see them get the same "chat bubble" answer but I dont even see a chat bubble anywhere on here. Why is it so hard to cancel service???

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

They will get pissy if you send them a dm without them inviting you to do so, but here's how I did it:
Thank you for reaching out here. I will be happy to get that issue taken care of from here. Can you send me a direct message with your full name and the complete address for where that line is?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
