Cancel Xfinity

Greetings,

I am leaving Georgia, and I want to cancel my Xfinity subscription at the end of the current billing period. I have removed all autopay and billing information already, and I possess no Xfinity equipment (personal cable modem).

Please confirm there will be no further attempt to bill me for another month.

Best regards,

[Removed: Private information]

user_hlwacr Thank you so much for stopping in for help with disconnecting your services. We always have to see a customer go, but are able to help with disconnect requests. We will need a bit more information before we can confirm anything. Send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Click "Sign In" (If necessary). Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support". As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. Press Enter to send it. How to: Direct Message Within The Forum.

[Edited: "Profanity"] I'm not answering any more questions. I already had to search the internet several time just to find THIS solution. I hit "login" and the forum knew exactly who I was, therefore YOU do too. So, you are OBVIOUSLY lying - your response is obviously a POLICY decision. Nobody else in the world has this name and email address, nor is it used for any other Comcast account.

YOU are an Xfinity employee. You've (Xfinity) been formally informed, therefore I am now legally unsubscribed.

user_hlwacr We do not have access to your private information without you providing it to help ensure your account information stays secure. I can process the request; there isn't an issue. I just need to know who you are and where and send a verification code to ensure you are authorized correctly. Your name and address is considered private, and we like to keep it secure so your name and address are not posted publicly or accessible on your forum profile. Until I know your name and address, I can not assist. Feel free to follow the steps above to get over to me in private, so you can provide your name and the address for the services you would like to disconnect, so I can better assist.

You're trying to tell me you don't know who posted things on YOUR site when they are logged in?

I'm not buying it. This is an Xfinity.com site. You have my permission to look up my name and email, which is all you need.

user_hlwacr That is correct; we do not have access to that information. While it may be available to the site engineers, it is considered private information, and we have a responsibility to protect customer data; it is not accessible at my level. As a moderator, the information available to me is limited to your Xfinity Forums ID, along with any associated posts and comments. We do not have access to any additional account or personal information. If you would like further assistance, please follow the steps outlined above and provide the requested information. Until that information is received, we will be unable to process your disconnect request.
