Cancel Service
Good afternoon,
I’ve had Xfinity for approximately a couple of years. the customer service when it comes to needing someone to troubleshoot for instance, when my security modem was not working, the customer service was consistently inconsistent, either you could not reach anyone, you definitely could not get a decent chat, if you got through to a human they transferred you to multiple humans and no one could help. Finally when I said I wanted to cancel the security home security I received someone that could actually troubleshoot and get the system working properly. Months later the base stopped working completely went black. I tried to get help via chat via phone call etc. again nothing nothing nothing. I called in again another day. Got a human and asked them to just cancel completely my home security. Surprisingly they did that. So now I have a paid for home security system that’s not working. That’s the kind of customer support. I’ve been receiving from Xfinity.
next issue, was when I moved recently the service wasn’t transferred entirely or properly. No one told me that I needed to set up a new account in order to access my information at the new address. The short story it caused multiple problems, after talking to no less than six people on two different days for at least two hours on those two different days a total of two hours, and then going in to two locations because the location I went to after sitting down asking me the same questions over and over then I had already relayed and asked if they take notes online when calls come in from a customer that’s dissatisfied. I was told no way that customer service rep nice but still could not help directed me to another location, I went to the other location. They took so long that I was there when the store closed myself and another couple was in the store. The service customer service is horrible with this company. Seeking to cancel my service and why am I not surprised. Logging in to cancel you can’t do that I owe very minimal amount on my monthly bill that’s not due into toward the end of October. The only option I have online is to transfer my service. When you reach out to chat, of course that’s no help and ask. What do you want you say cancel and it says they’ll set up a call, shocker the call is almost a week away. I do not want to deal with a company who has measures in place to try to force their customers to stay with them or try to double dip billing before their customer leaves. I do not trust this company and they have been horrible when it comes to supporting their customers. I just want to cancel my service completely and never have to deal with them again.

The concern is not "Community Center" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

After reading through everything you've experienced, we can understand why you've reached the point of wanting to cancel your services completely. You've spent hours on the phone, worked with multiple representatives, visited two stores, and still haven't received the level of support you needed. That's a lot of time and effort, especially when you were simply trying to get your services working properly.
What's particularly concerning is that these experiences have continued across different services and even after moving to a new address. You shouldn't have to repeatedly explain your situation or struggle to reach someone who can help.
We also understand your concern about the cancellation process, especially when you're being offered a callback nearly a week away. We respect your decision to leave, and we're not here to pressure you into keeping services you no longer want.
We'd like to help you move forward with your cancellation request and make sure you have a clear understanding of any remaining charges, equipment requirements, and what to expect with your final bill. We also want to avoid having you repeat the same information you've already shared.
