Cancel my account

I've been trying to cancel my account.   When I get to be on hold after a lengthy phone tree, the phone hangs up on me.  I've tried multiple times.

Chat support refuses to connect me to an agent.

And, the schedule call back feature surprisingly (?) doesn't work.

They make it hard to cancel because they want to keep getting your money - unethical.

How do I cancel?

  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

ok, I did that.  I don't expect anything out of it though, because just now after getting on a chat with someone, they said they'd get a supervisor then ended the chat support session.

I'm pretty sure this is intentional.

Same problem here.   I initially called to see if I could get a lower rate since the ATT fiber rate in our area was much lower than what I was paying with Comcast.   I got hung up on  4 times when I called 1800Xfinity so out of frustration, I decided I wanted to cancel.   When I tried to cancel online through chat, it linked me to where I could be called back but the site said we are having trouble scheduling our callback, then I tried to chat with a customer service agent, but the chat box said none were available.   Does anyone know how to cancel.   Is this legal?
