Cancel internet without phone call

Hello, I'd like to cancel my internet plan ASAP (ideally TODAY, Oct 13). The next available customer service callback I could schedule isn't til Oct 16. I see there should be a way to send a DM but I don't see any messaging icon in the top right corner of my screen -- looks like I need to be invited to send a DM, per https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/getting-started/i-need-to-send-dm-but-no-icon-need-overhead-cable-removed/62605942ee0ef23e52626c4f.

So can I please get an invite to send a DM in order to cancel my internet service?

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message.

Look for live chat or the three line/dots on your screen to click on.
