Cancel internet service

I want to cancel my service. I hate that you make it this difficult. Your callback feature does not work and you know it. I am certainly not going to a physical location to cancel service. Cancel my service now please!

@user_vgwbc5 Thanks for adding a post. We can help here. Send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the message icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message

California law AB 2863 mandates that subscription services offer a simple, one-click method for customers to cancel their subscription. I absolutely will not take the 6 steps you listed which would be in addition to creating this account just so I can post on this forum. Test me on this if you want to. I have the time today, tomorrow, and the day after that. You will be reported. And I am feeling particularly litigious.

I was finally able to schedule a phone call and spoke with Xfinity on the phone on August 10, 2025. The only purpose for that call was to cancel my service. I was assured that this would be taken care of. Yet, Xfinity is still trying to charge me for service. If I had not removed my credit card from being on file, I would be getting charges on my card.  Your process for cancellation is a joke and you'll deserve everything ounce of negative PR that you receive because of it. And every single lawsuit.

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.

  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

I know how you feel. I have been trying to get my service canceled since 8/4 and it is still on. Cannot get anyone on the phone and their automated chat is worthless!!!!
