Can I have my Xfinity service line removed from my yard by a technician?

Over the course of the last year, the conduit carrying my Xfinity service line to my house has naturally surfaced in my yard, leaving an exposed line for a 8-10 foot span. In addition, the placement of the line runs diagonally through the center of my yard, which is very restrictive to landscaping/construction plans I have for the space. I recently transitioned to a fiber optic service, so I no longer use Xfinity or this line.

Can I have this exposed, unused service line properly removed by a technician?

bfrid I hear you my friend. I know how important it is to have a nice looking lawn and landscaping plans. We can do two things. If you want to just cut and remove it that is totally fine or we can see about sending a tech out but most likely there would be a charge and wait time for construction team to remove it.

Okay, so to be clear, I am welcome to cut the line as far up as I can manage on my property, bury the end, and remove the portion that goes through my yard? I’m very willing to do this myself but want to be sure that’s okay from Xfinity’s end.
