Cable-less plans

Does Comcast have plans that do not include the physical cable (internet) connection? If so, where can I see the description and prices of those plans?

Thanks for reaching out @user_f210ef. I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Are you talking about cable services without a cable box?

Yes, I mean I don't need the Comcast cable or cable box. I will be streaming Xfinity channels on mobile devices only. I am going to travel extensively so I will be rarely at home. I will be streaming Xfinity on a tablet or phone wherever I happen to be. Either via cellular service or from wifi in hotels, resorts, other people's homes and so on.

Ah, thank you for clarifying for us! We do offer the option to have cable channels and stream only; However, it would require a home service address where the internet is installed/activated to us. We do not offer streaming only without a home internet connection.

I no longer work for Comcast.

I don't understand. First you say I have the option to stream only. Then you say a home address where internet is installed and activated. What are you going to install? I don't need your cable or cable box. To put it simply, I want to pay for Xfinity content but not for the internet connection. I won't be using Comcast to access the internet.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. We do offer a streaming-only cable service, without cable equipment, but it is not available as a stand-alone service at this time. In order for you to be able to access Xfinity Stream content, you would either need to have at least one cable box connected and installed in your home, or you would need to subscribe to Xfinity Internet service.

LOL, you people keep talking out of both sides of your mouths. I finally get it. You don't want to come straight out and admit you force the subscriber to pay for internet access regardless of whether they want it or not.

OK, no problem. There are plenty other content providers. Thanks.
