Bury Cable

I recently had a tech come out to get my internet working and did a cable drop that goes across my driveway. When the bury crews come to do their job will they go under the driveway or have to rip up some of the concrete?

Hello user_cr8s27. That is a fantastic question and I can understand your curiosity with it. Our crews have the necessary tools needed, to bury the cable under the driveway. No property damage will occur!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @Punxsy70 thank you for taking time out of your day to reach out. You've contacted the right place for assistance, and I want to help get the proper expectations set up for the line burial. 12" to 24" is the common depth that lines are buried, unless municipalities have specific requirements (I didn't couldn't find any specified specifically for Delaware).

If a conduit is ever placed and the lines are run through a conduit, a minimum of 24" is required. Hope this information is helpful, please let me know if you have any other questions.
