We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the xFi Complete service and the In-Home WiFi Assessment. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you.

If the In-Home WiFi Assessment determines that a WiFi Boost Pod is not needed, we would be unable to process an order for one. The good news is that a WiFi Assessment is performed every 6 months from the data of activation. If one is needed, you will receive an email to redeem a WiFi Boost Pod. 

We also sell the WiFi Boost Pod if you feel one is absolutely needed. A WiFi Boost Pod works with our Xfinity Gateway to extend your WiFi network, and help eliminate dead spots for more consistent coverage to keep you seamlessly connected throughout your home. A single WiFi Boost Pod is $119.00 and a two-pack would be $199.00.

You would also have the opportunity to purchase your own personal cable modem and networking gear that better suites your home networking needs. Our 'Use approved third-party equipment for Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Voice' support page can provide assistance on supported devices and equipment. 

May I also suggest our Storm-Ready WiFi device as well. This device would act like a WiFi Boost Pod, but if there is a service interruption or power interruption, it would have a battery back-up and provide an Internet connection with a service interruption.
