bad programing---timing

We like to watch some of the old show, Magnum, Virginian, two and a half men, etc. and also western movies on Grit channel. The show starts a little late with the end of the previous show, so they end early before we can see the ending of the show we are watching. This is on usually every show. It is exasperating to spend two hours watching a movie, and not see the end!

Would you please foreword this to some one that could help?
