Bad business practices with speaking with a live agent

I have been trying to speak with a live agent. It’s not fair that a customer of 10 yrs with you all and a gold member is not able to get through to anyone. Your automated system either hang up the phone on me or doesn’t allow me to chat with anyone via the chat. It’s unacceptable and not good for business.
