auto damage
A few weeks ago, there was minor damage to my car by a comcast truck. I was put in touch with someone from TAK communications. At his request, I sent him an estimate from a repair shop, and now I am unable to get in touch with him any more. Please help.

Thank you for contacting us on the forums, @user_f379b6! To clarify, is TAK Communications the contractor that was doing the work in the area?

I assume so. The car belongs to my son, who is at college in an apartment building. The truck was a comcast Xfinity truck. When my son called comcast customer service, he eventually was put in touch with someone from TAK communications, so I think that they contract with comcast. He was responding at first, and we emailed him a copy of the estimate from the auto repair shop as he requested. But now we are unable to reach him. Very frustrating. Comcast should have the ultimate resposibility.

I spent an hour on the phone with comcast customer support today, trying to re-create the trail that my son took and get in touch with someone else who could help. Eventually I was told that I needed to contact the local Xfinity store, but the only phone number that I could find is the 888 number for comcast.

We don't have direct numbers for the Xfinity stores, which is why you haven't been able to contact one that way. Since the damage was done by a contractor, it would need to be handled with them. I do see, on the TAK Communications website, that they have a contact form. That would be a good way to get in touch with them directly. Since they are handling the claim, they are the best ones to get in touch with. Does that make sense?

Makes sense, but if I am not able to reach them (I have already tried the contact form this morning), or if they are not helpful, then Comcast would need to handle the problem.

Has your son reported the accident to his own insurance company? It should still be reported to them, even if it's not his fault. They'll take care of covering the damage, and can file a subrogation claim against TAK's insurance company.
