Actually, I just tried again and now everything seems fine. Was able to send an email. Must have been a temporary glitch.

Hello, user_yrnp93 thank you for taking time out of your day to create a post, I know how important it is to be able to send emails. I'm glad to hear that sending emails is working again.
If you're using a 3rd party email client and run into errors in the future, it is good to check your settings to ensure nothing changed: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email?linkId=153050254. And to ensure the 3rd party access is on: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access.

Getting the same message (bolded above); tried from multiple of our comcast email accounts and none will let us send email...

Same message on different devices, using only Xfinity web email, no client intermediary. Must be Xfinity problem.
