appointment I did NOT make

On May 10th, a Comcast technician showed up at my home--I found him walking along the side yard uninvited. He claimed we had made an appointment. We HAD NOT made an appointment. He claimed our house was understruction and a line was broken. Our house is NOT under construction, and our equipment is working fine. I did point out that the lot next door is under construction. He claimed that had nothing to do with our appointment, but we DID NOT make an appointment. He was generally condescending and rude, and left in a huff of obscenities. How can I speak to an actual agent to ensure that we are NOT charged for an appointment we DID NOT make?

Thanks for reaching out to us we do apologize for any inconvenience. There can be times when technician is needed  where they do not need to enter your home. I'll be happy to make sure there's no charges listed on the account as generally you can only get charged the tech coming out and the issue is with your personal owned the equipment or in home wiring.  Go ahead and send me a direct message including your first and last name and complete service address so we can look further into this concern

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

    • Click "Sign In" if necessary
    • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
    • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
