Amazon gift card hoax

I signed up through a concierge service that said Xfinity was offering a $200 Amazon gift card if you signed up for the larger package which was only $10 more a month. They said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. I found this forum in read that it takes 3 months so I waited. I signed up back in April. I reached out to the concierge service to confirm that the incentive was on my account and they told me it's all handled through Xfinity. I see no record anywhere on any of my Xfinity accounts of the incentive and the tracking website shows the same. I feel like I got scammed. I wouldn't have chosen the bigger package without that incentive. I'm locked into the plan for 2 years. They stand to make an extra $240 that they wouldn't have if I wasn't offered the gift card. So I'm hoping Xfinity does the right thing and follows through with their promise.

It's also interesting when I tag the word scam, everything I just typed is lost and I have to refresh the page.

Hey @user_pl8f3p, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback and experience. I look forward to seeing how we can best assist you this evening. I notice from your post that you stated you enrolled in the Xfinity services through a "concierge service". Is this an official Xfinity authorized reseller or communication platform or this service outside our Xfinity ecosystem and a third party that helped enroll you in services?

I responded to this 6 days ago but can not find my response anywhere.

I don't know the answer to your question but I can tell you the service was called Home binder. They research all utilities in your new area and how to set them up. They will set them up for you if they can. I spoke to Amanda G (I have the full last name of you need it) and she gave me the 2 Amazon gift card options for the 2 different levels of Internet. I choose the bigger service because it was a better deal. She scheduled a call for me to set up service with Rilee B from home binder processing team. She sent everything I needed to install service through the mail.

user_pl8f3p I would recommend to view your Xfinity Legal Agreements with this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/my-account-find-contract to see if you see any mention of gift cards to what you agreed to. If you don't, then that would be an issue I would take up with Home Binder for a complaint. That's caused one of their employees were not being transparent.

user_mu3l5f, thank you for letting us know. We would only provide one gift card per account, so it is correct that you would not get two. I appreciate you working with us along the way.
