alarm certificate
My alarm certificate has the wrong town. Actually, my whole account has the wrong town. I tried to get it corrected from signup years ago but was told it goes by zip code and it can't be corrected. ( 5 towns here share the same zip code- only the dash 4 digits are different). So I gave up on that- with paperless billing it didn't matter any more.
My insurance company accepted a copy of my bill for years to show I have Xfinity Home which includes a monitored alarm system. Now they will no longer accept that and want the Alarm certificate. I cannot give it to them as my policy is not insuring a home in the town that shows on my certificate! I accessed chat and was told to go to my local Xfinity store to get it fixed. Marguerite there has been trying to get the powers that be to correct it, and every so often she contacts me to check again but it has never been fixed yet. There must be someone in authority who can override the AI and get my certificate to show the town I reside in and where my Xfinity equipment resides. I am losing money as I cannot get the alarm discount with my insurance company! Please help! Thank you.
