address is out of footprint, but may still be serviceable?
So, we've been out of the footprint since we moved here. I've contacted xfinity multiple times since then, though it usually ends with them saying we're still unserviceable, despite the cable being a few houses down on the same street. But recently, someone in my family checked our address, which still shows us out of the footprint, but it also said we still may be serviceable. What I'm wondering is if this is actually true or not, because I do not want to think we're getting better internet than what we have, only to be told we're still unserviceable.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @mustangmike445 We are pleased to assist you in reviewing your address. Please send us your full name and complete address in a direct message.
(Full credit to @BruceW for this excellent explanation!)
"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
• - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
