I have communicated twice now with representatives of Comcast/Xfinity regarding a 50% off promotion for my account. I need to confirm this before moving forward.

Have you gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill?  If so, the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.

user_c202a1. As mentioned by @Again, this is likely not an offer from us and is someone phishing for your information. What I can do is look into offers that are actually available for your account. I do also recommend reaching out to our Customer Security Assurance Team at 1-888-565-4329. They'll be able to look into your Xfinity account for any security breaches. Please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name. The message icon is located at the top right of the Community Forum page, clicking on the message icon will allow you to initiate a chat conversation with us directly. Please ensure you are sending your message to our 'Xfinity Support' handle.
