5 yr set price doesn't seem to apply to long time customers like me
I've been with Xfinity since it was Comcast, yet I never seem to get any perks like a reduction in price for being a long time customer or 5 yrs. set price, like is currently being heavily advertised. My question is simple, Why?

You got 5 years set price? I have been with them Before they were Comcast, when they were ATand T (yes the were at&T ) then back to [Edited: "Profanity"] were they anyway Over 30 years. I remember getting the cable internet and going out to find a cable modem....nobody knew what I was talking about.....That said I got 1 year when I was told on the phone it would be 2 years. Consider yourself lucky.

Once you're in you mean nothing. They called me the other day to ask how my experience was (a day after wasting hours trying to change my current plan) and flat out told me to cancel and restart because then they could help me out... Of course trying to do that also leads to more circular conversations that go no where so it's time to go elsewhere...
