@AceWiz_ Our hearts go out to those impacted by Storm Beryl. We are working as fast and as hard as possible to restore everyone's entertainment service. To help residents and emergency personnel stay connected, we've opened Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the Texas Region to anyone who needs them, including non-Xfinity customers, free of charge. All Xfinity WiFi hotspots located both indoors and outdoors in places like shopping districts, parks, businesses, and train stations throughout the Houston, Texas area are open. Hotspots located in customers’ homes are not opened to the public. 
Go to the hotspot map, enter your ZIP code, and zoom in to street level to see the available WiFi hotspots. 
Xfinity Internet customers can also visit the Xfinity app or xfinity.com/wifi to see a map of available Xfinity WiFi hotspots. All open hotspots, both indoor and outdoor, will appear on the map.  
Once at a hotspot, customers and non-customers should select xfinitywifi from the list of available WiFi networks, and then launch a browser.
Xfinity Internet customers can sign in using their Xfinity ID and password to be automatically connected to Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the future. Non-Xfinity customers can connect by clicking the Accept and connect button.

They aren't providing ETAs or anything even remotely resembling a reasonable explanation or restoration schedule. They keep directing us to a Texas Comcast website with some marketing executive's generic press release. The "hotspot map" is either down, or the places themselves don't have wifi. No real communication from Comcast during already trying times. Very disappointing.
