2TB service speeds

Hi, I recently upgraded to the 2GB service tier and have an Arris S34 modem. My max upload speed is still 40Mbps. What else do I need to do to get the higher speeds?

Thanks for reaching out to us, as a customer who will be upgraded to the next generation speeds here this week, I would not be happy if I ordered the GigabitX2 2 Gbps/300 Mbps but was still only receiving 40 Mbps.

When you run a speed test https://speedtest.xfinity.com/ to test the speeds that you're getting, are you running that through a hard wired connection directly through your Arris S34 modem or are you running that through a separate Wi-Fi router that you have in connection with your Arris S34 modem?

Tested it both ways. Hardwired to modem still does not exceed the 40Mbps. Max download speed I see is 900Mbps.

danfealk Thanks for the update. Have you also tried to do these steps outlined in this link? https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting

Yes I have. It was not useful to troubleshoot the speed since overall the connection is fine.
