Xfinity Guide Showing Wrong Content

For the past few days, the TV channel guide has been showing the wrong information. For example, FXX says "program info unavailable" when "Archer" was shown just a few hours earlier. And Cartoon Network shows certain shows being only 10 minutes long when that isn't the case. What's going on with the channel guide?

No, this did not solve the problem, I tried this already and it didn’t work. There’s an issue with the guide for Antena 3 channel. Can you please report this to the right department so that the problem gets solved. Neither you nor su can solve it. Thank you!

I'm seeing incorrect NEW/REPEAT tags on PBS's Motorweek program.  The new episodes are flagged as REPEAT and aren't being recorded as part of my stored selections.

Hi, @LeeSoFL, are you only noticing this issue on the one channel and program? If so, have you tried to watch the actual episode and confirmed that the one playing was new, not just expected to be new?

@XfinityChristina The episode is new, listed on IMDB with a broadcast date one day prior to it being aired as REPEAT on WXEL 440.  I've contacted the station and they do not air it anytime before Sat at 2:30PM, and Season 41, episode 7 is new.

Thank you for providing that screenshot! In our household, we love watching crime and medical dramas. With all of the re-runs our favorite shows have throughout the week, we prefer our DVR to be set to record new episodes only too.

Does episode 8 also show as a repeat?

@XfinityAldrik  Yes the Comcast guide has been showing new as repeat since the beginning of this show's season.  That's when I realized my DVR wasn't recording the shows.  photos: Comcast guide, then TV guide generic for the program for the 23rd and 30th, showing as NEW.  As you can see, the Comcast date says the episode aired (originally) the day before but that is wrong.  The programs are released to PBS on Saturdays (the 23rd and 30th)

The TV guide is all wrong for Antena 3 channel 656. The programs show at the wrong time.  It’s not an issue with my account, so please don’t  ask me to troubleshoot anything with the App. My mother and two of my friends who have the Xfinity Latino package have the same TV Guide that I do. We cannot record anything because what the guide shows doesn’t correspond to the programs that are shown at that time. Thank you!

Channel 4 and channel 11 both are showing something different that what it is suppose to be, I watch those channels, I have made several phone calls, waiting now for a call back from comcast today, . this has been going on for a couple of weeks, the guide shows what is suppose to be on but it is something different,  no one seems to know what is going on. they reset every thing, no help. want my shows back.

I'm having trouble with watching reruns of the show SEAL Team on CBS (Channel 804 in Champlin, MN). On the xfinity channel guide, it shows that reruns are on from 12:05AM to 1:05AM on early Monday mornings, but, the show doesn't start until maybe 12:35 AM. I have set my Comcast/xfinity DVR to record the shows, but the first half hour of the recording is of the previous show ("In Touch With Dr. Charles Stanley"), and then I get the 1st half (or less) of the SEAL Team episode. I'm not sure if there is a way to change the "time" of the recording so it starts later than 12:05AM and ends at maybe 1:35AM.

@BrentF, I'm sorry you are having issues viewing re-runs of Seal. Editing the start and stop time of your recording could help. This link will be a good reference. (https://comca.st/3oZclHn) Hitting the Xfinity button on your remote will allow you to go to "Saved." Then go to 'Scheduled," and then highlight a program. From here you can change settings using "Record Options." X1 will allow you to edit the start and stop time of recordings!

Legacies season 4 is not correct. Season 4 episode 1 is playing season 3 episode 17.  Season 4 Episode 5 seems to be programming from a later episode in season 4 but plays the correct episode on the CW app.

Jan 29th 2022 10pm 48 hours episode listed as "Mystery on County Rd M" but what is being shown is an episode about Ezra McCandless/Alex Woodworth

Many of the channels when streaming TV Go are showing the East Coast schedule in the guide when viewing from the west coast.  Disney XD and FreeForm are two but there are many of them - I'll let you guys go one by one to make sure they get fixed.  I know it's the East Coast feed in the guide because I can compare them.  The channels are showing the West Coast feed when you watch them but the guide still shows whatever is on the east coast at that time.   I have a nice picture of the "700 Club" that shows "Hustlers" at the top of the image.  I'm sure they'd appreciate that xfinity thinks they are hustlers....

As others have said this is NOT an issue with my computer/app or anything that I can fix.  This is Xfinity showing the guide incorrectly in TV Go, it's been going on for months

Chanels 246 and 247 are transposed on the guide.  It makes recording shows impossible.  When will this get fixed?
