I have been having problems since 11/23/20. I picked up a new tv box on Thirsday. OIf course several reboots were needed. But still I am not able to get a program guide. Nor does the new Xfinity button prove hellpful.
What type of box? It sounds like you have a legacy box that is trying to download the menus. The XFINITY button is just the old MENU button with a new name.

The booklet says GSG. It has had that saying since Friday. That is a long download. It is 1;00 pm on Sunday. A really long download
