WPIX Contract Negotiations

I am wondering what is happening with the contract negotiations with WPIX.  It seems ludicrous to me that a channel I grew up with, procured with a set of rabbit ear antenna and no cable whatsoever - is not available to me in 2022 as I am paying hundreds of dollars per month for Comcast/Xfinity.

Tremendously dissatisfied as a Comcast customer.

Please advise.
