Will Comcast/Xfinity be doing anything special for the Super bowl like "4k"

I'm sure there is going to be Dolby vision and Atmos...............

But I want to see if the Xfinity experts here will post anything about if the resolution is 4k.

I saw some sort of release elsewhere (can't post outside links) - and in the 3 paragraphs, ZERO mention of 4k.

It won’t be real 4K but it’ll be up converted 1080p HDR.

Hello, @westwayneguy88888

Depending on the Broadcaster, Super Bowl LIX will be available in enhanced 4K for compatible X1 devices. In addition to the live game, customers can watch the Super Bowl pre-game and post-game shows in enhanced 4K.

"Depending on the broadcaster", are you saying you don't know who is broadcasting the game?

Will there be a linear channel like the Olympics was 1350 i believe, or do you have to say 4K into the remote?

The information I have so far states that On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. The game will air in English on FOX and in Spanish on FOX Deportes and Univision. You can obtain the most accurate and up-to-date channel numbers by referring to the customer's channel lineup.

Customers can use their Xfinity Voice Remote to tune to the game, get game highlights, see stats for the teams, and more. They can say "Super Bowl" before the game to watch pre-game coverage from the FOX Sports broadcast crew and more industry experts. You can also find pre- and post-game content in 4K by saying “4K” into their Voice Remote.
