Why was Blazervision unavailable for the last 2 Portland Trailblazer games at my home in Salem, Oregon. Ed

Blazervision is the Portland Trailblazers NBA team broadcast. It is carried by Xfinity for no extra charge on four channels. I am a diehard Blazer fan. The trailblazer web site said their games would be broadcast on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 11th and 12th) as they have been since Blazervision was created. They were not available. I called the Blazers , they said it was being broadcast. I called Xfinity and spent over 30 minutes talking to a support person that I had trouble understanding their English. The only solution she suggested was for me to subscribe to NBA League Pass which I should not have to do.  Has something changed, did someone forget to flip a switch? What's going on? Ed

bufford61, Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. As a big sports fan myself, I completely understand the concern, especially when you were expecting to watch the Blazers and were told the games were being broadcast. Sports programming can sometimes be affected by regional or league broadcasting restrictions, which you can learn more about here: Xfinity Sports Blackouts. However, I don’t want to assume that was the cause here. We’d be happy to take a closer look at your service and the BlazeVision channels to see what happened. I also see that Blazervision is a streaming subscription for their games. Just to confirm, you are also saying that you are getting this channel through XFINITY?
