Channel 1174 THIS show in my guide. It shows programs recorded. Bur when I try to watch a live program or a recored it says channel is not available even it is still recording new programs
I’m having the same problem!! Found a show I liked watching on the weather channel but no longer get it because I reduced my cable now in the past week channel 1174 it says channel is no longer available! I want the channel back it has some good shows on it! I’m already paying over $150/month and now channels are disappearing!! Please bring it back!! Had comcast since 1987!!
Why is “This TV” network channel 1174 Xfinity New Hampshire canceled I'm having same problem with Xfinity Ashland (MA). I have Limited Basic service. 1174 shows up in the channel listings, but when I go to it I get "Channel no longer available". Is THIS TV available on a different service package?
Can you give a more precise area of where you are, like your town/state? The This TV web site is messed up. No zip code I put in, even my own, is working. Looking at the Wikipedia article, there are no ThisTV affiliates in the New Hampshire or Massachusetts areas (or here in Chicago.) Most likely, your local stations dropped it. This TV is a BROADCAST network, and a local station must carry it before Comcast can pass it on. Comcast cannot add it on it's own.
Basically, there are a large number of This TV affiliates who recently dropped it.

It's possible that the station that was carrying it as a subchannel decided not to air it any more.

Good afternoon @DeYoreo. Are you getting an error message when trying to access the channel?
