What error message do you get? What type of equipment? It may be a signal issue that affects more than Fox, but you don't tune to those channels that share it's frequency. In a typical cable system, 10-12 channels share the same frequency.
The concern is not "Home networking" help related................................... Thread moved here to the proper help section for assistance.

@user_0e7aca we want to do all we can to help and give you all the information you need. When a channel is not accessible it can happen for several reasons. In addition to the error message, you are seeing can you let us know if you are watching Fox News at home using a cable box, streaming it at home using the Xfinity Stream app or streaming away from home using our app?
@XfinityJosephA I’m at home in SW Florida trying to watch Fox News on Comcast XFinity cable channel 428. The message “THIS CHANNEL IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE”. “Please wait while the channel reloads, or try again”. XRE-03059”
@user_8e60d8 I'm sorry to hear that you are not able to enjoy the what's showing on Fox News right now. How you tried any of the following;
Select Try Again on-screen.
Ensure all of your TV connections are tight ,if applicable.
Power cycle the TV Box by unplugging it in for 1-2 minutes and plugging it back in.
If you’re unable to power cycle the TV Box, try restarting it by saying “Restart TV Box” into your Xfinity Voice Remote or hold down the power button on your TV Box, if applicable.
If you are still experiencing issues please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue. To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Fox News has been blocked since early this morning on Comcast. This is the only channel not working and it is the only channel we watch basically. We are paying almost $200/month for Comcast service and they are going to put politics into the mix and take it away by blocking it??? This is absolutely ridiculous. Typical.
@gmcfry Thank you for letting me know you see "Temporarily Unavailable" as well. I know everyone's situation is different, so I want to check. I see you have access to Fox Business which is great. Does this only occur with your TV boxes, or have you tried to access these channels on the stream app as well?

I get every channel except Fox News now. This has happened several times before. It says temporarily unavailable and some garbage about checking the cables. Even though every other channel works. [Edited: "Political"] Long time customer, but maybe not for long. Hello DirecTV, AT&T, what can you offer me? Won't put up with this type of behavior/politics especially if I'm paying for it. Funny how Fox worked all day but stopped just in time for the Prime time shows at night....again! 2nd time within a week. Chicago is woke, but I'm wide awake! [Edited: "Language/Inflammatory"]
@user_52fd9d What is the exact error message you're seeing?

Hello, @Cyber, thank you for letting us know that you are also having issues with accessing Fox News! We would be glad to assist! If you do not mind, would you please try the following:
Select Try Again on-screen.
Ensure all of your TV connections are tight ,if applicable.
Power cycle the TV Box by unplugging it in for 1-2 minutes and plugging it back in.
If you’re unable to power cycle the TV Box, try restarting it by saying “Restart TV Box” into your Xfinity Voice Remote or hold down the power button on your TV Box, if applicable.
If that does not work, please let us know and we can proceed with some deeper troubleshooting to resolve the issue.

@user_90c05f - Seems that this is having something to do with my profile, possibly Google account that is being blocked from going to FOX. I tested this by logging in with my work computer and with Incognito mode - in both cases it works. SO I am now pointing the finger at google, not Xfinity :)
@user_90c05f Nice job troubleshooting! Have you by chance tried to reset the browser? Or can you uninstall and reinstall the browser?

@user_90c05f same here in Port St Lucie FL. Xfinity has locked me out since last February on my account down here. I’m able to use a google Chromecast device to stream FoxNews from my Xfinity account up in Illinois, but that also goes away when I put my Illinois account on vacation suspension when we’re down here in Florida. Thinking of just subscribing to Sling down with our Fla account
I am sorry you're running into this error, but I also tested it on my end and I am not getting this error. Since it has been a couple of days, are you still running into this issue on your end?

We are getting every channel except Fox News (channel 37). Don't waste your time calling or live chat. All the "refresh signals" they send won't fix the issue. Such a waste of my time.
A technician was scheduled for today. He just called to discuss and told me it was a county wide problem (Forsyth County, GA). He asked me to try channel 837 (the HD channel), which does work.
Hey there @user_82a6fd! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to reach out to Xfinity on Forums! We understand the importance of having all of your services work the way they should! This is not the experience we want for our valued members! Are you getting any error messages when tuning to the channel? Also, does it work on the HD channel version of it?
