Why is Channel 7 (Discovery), 18 and others have been requiring a subscription since 04/06/2020?

Is there a difference between Channel line up "140 +" and "X1Basic Pro +" according to the online billing explanation they are the same.  However my channel line up went seriously off track on 04/06/2020 when the status of the following channels went to "This Requires a Subscription".

- Channel 7 (Discovery)
- Channel 18 (Disney)
- Channel 19 (Bravo)
- Channel 102 (Science TV)
- Channel 103 (Destination America)
- Channel 104 (ID Investigation Discovery)
- Channel 106 (American Heroes Channel)
- Channel 750 (Discovery Channel HD)
- Channel 754 (Motortrend)
- Channel 757 (National Geographic)
This change was unannounced and is uncalled for in my opinion.  Channel 7 (Discovery) has been on my channel line up since 2009! Why the sudden change?
I checked my "Guide" on the TV and the list of channels includes Channel 7 (Discovery) and Channel 18 (Disney) as well as the others.  Yet, if I click on the Guide's Channel 7 I get the "This Requires a Subscription".  So I went to www.Xfinity.com and selected "shop/upgrade" to up date my package... Well all I got was a webpage where I could sign up for internet service (I already have that service with Xfinity!).  Then, I decided to go and watch my favorite show, Gold Rush with Parker Schnabel's Trail Down Under" online.  I couldn't because I didn't have a subscription to the Discovery channel through Xfinity! This is a mess that I'm paying for and yet I can't watch what I've watched since it started way back when Parker was a young lad at Pocupine creek, Alaska.
Can anyone help with this issue of channel status change? What can I do to get, at least, Channel 7 (Discovery) back?
