Why does it say my Peacock subscription is ready to activate when I'm already using Peacock on my TV

I don't understand why there's a message on my Xfinity account page saying my Peacock subscription is ready to activate. I clicked activate now because I thought maybe I'm supposed to do that but when I got to a final page that said to sign in and activate, there's a lot of information that made me think I shouldn't continue. I get Peacock with my plan but the information made it sound like they're adding a second plan that I'd have to pay for. So confused and like I said in my question, I already am watching shows on Peacock on my TV.

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out about this message, I would be concerned as well so thank you for taking the time. Did you recently make any plan changes or sign in with a different username? Are you still experiencing issues at this time?

We did get a new TV set a few weeks ago but I was able to watch shows on Peacock but on the day I posted this question, when I tried to open a show I watch daily I couldn't so I ended up activating my subscriptions. In the meantime, I had also gotten and email plus a text message from Xfinity saying I needed to activate my subscription. No clue why but It's done and I can watch shows on Peacock.

@sheryltoo66 thank you for the follow up, and glad to hear it's working after going through the activation steps. From experience, I know we offer free Peacock premium to our Diamond and Platinum Xfinity Rewards members, and for customers who have our Gigabit or Gigabit x2 speeds. Did you happen to redeem a Peacock Premium Xfinity Reward recently, as it sounds like the only recent change was a new TV.
