You're free to switch to DishTV if you like.  Note, however, if you drop all Comcast services and you're in a contract you will pay early termination fees.  If you keep at least one service and just drop cable there won't be any early termination fees.

Just to inform you that Dish has pulled all regional sports channels from thier service in July 2019 and since Oct 2019 they have not had NSCsports chicago.   I am looking to drop dish and see what comcast has to offer and bundle with my internet.    It you are looking to Dish to solve you sports issues you will be sorry.
