Dnsara2 Hello! Thank you for sharing that the wrong area is showing on the Weather Channel programming. I'm sorry that it's not giving you the local details that you need. I am happy to help out!
Are you using a cable box or the Xfinity Streaming app when accessing the weather channel?

I am using the cable box. I have done all the troubleshooting, as did the agents when I called. When I google the issue it tells me to report “the local headend IntelliStar server needs to be rebooted.” Not sure if that’s a thing, but it looks like this issue is occurring in areas across the country if you look at the Forum.

Dnsara2 Thank you for letting me know the issue is with the cable box and that you have completed some troubleshooting steps. I'm sorry that those steps did not help us out. I would like to check to see if a request has been created yet for our local teams to help out. If there is an issue at the headend, that isolates the issue to specific areas. I would be happy to investigate and make sure that we get the right teams engaged to help out.

The issue is NOT the cable box. All xfinity customers in my area are experiencing the same issue. If you look at the community forum, people are posting from Indiana, PA and other states.
