Two Paramount+'s ?

I have Paramount + on my regular Xfinity bill for $12.99/month. We get some shows and movies on it but could never get Paramount+ series Landman and Tulsi King.  Out of frustration I went to ParamountPlus.com and signed up there for $12.99/month on my Amex card. So now I have two Paramount+'s.  OK.  But the one direct from Paramount is not available on the "Xfintiy" button my remote so I have to get to it through voice recognition on the remote. OK, but when I start watching Landman or Tulsi King I have to start at Season 1 Ep1.  And it's VERY slow and keeps stopping and re-starting. Actually not watchable. Why is all of this?

Greetings, @barrygou! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about these Paramount Plus issues. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

It sounds like your X1 box may be logging in to a different Paramount Plus account than the one you are paying for on your Amex. We had a similar issue with our account, back when Picard was only available on the Paramount Plus streaming service. I'm wondering if Landman and Tulsa King are the same way. You should be able to log out of your current profile on the X1 and log back in with your paid streaming profile, but that may not address the performance issues you described, which could be a bigger issue.
